Mission Statement
Recognizing that suicide is a significant community health problem with a devastating
impact on families and communities, our mission is to reduce the occurrence
of suicide and support families surviving suicide through community
education, and to enhance clinical knowledge and skill in the treatment
of suicidal persons.
Activities
Sponsors annual suicide prevention conference with nationally renowned
speakers.
Increases awareness of suicide through editorials and other media outreach.
Provides education through community programs.
Offers referral to support groups and other area resources.
